Spoilers
Star shaped cardstock prints that are placed into novels as bookmarks. The bookmarks are placed in books categorized as “dystopian” through the Washoe County Library’s catalog search available to check out at the time of install. One side of the bookmark quotes the ending of the book it is placed into. The other side is a photograph cropping an advertisement of people smiling that was marketed during March 2020 - March 2022. Why did it seem like the only thing that did not stop during the pandemic was advertising?
